The Wethersfield Lady Geese won a two-set volleyball win over Putnam County Monday.
Raqi Young had 17 assists, five digs, two kills, two blocks and three aces for Wethersfield.
Kendall Vincent added five kills, six digs, two aces and a block.
Kennady Anderson scored six digs, two aces and six kills.
Cora Hodge led the team with 14 digs, and also had an ace and two assists.
Lajaya Angel had four kills and a block.
Sophie Nimrick had three kills and a block, and Emersyn Nelson added two kills and two blocks.
The frosh-soph Lady Geese topped Putnam County 25-12 and 25-9, and Wethersfield’s freshman team also won.
