The Wethersfield Lady Geese won the championship of the regional they hosted with a two-set win over Annawan Thursday.
Wethersfield will play Illini Bluffs in the opening round of the Williamfield Sectional. The game starts at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
Wethersfield topped Annawan Thursday 25-16, 25-18, improving to 31-6 on the season. Annawan finished their season at 13-17-4.
