Kewanee High School’s girls golf team dropped a match to Knoxville Tuesday at Lake Bracken Country Club in Galesburg.
Hope Peed’s nine-hole score of 49 was one stroke behind the 48 shot by the match’s medalist, Knoxville, Piper Lewis.
Other scores for Kewanee were Eleanor Burkhart 57, Kira Alsup 72 and Charlotte Burkhart 73.
The team scores were 237 for Knoxville and 251 for Kewanee.
