The Kewanee Park District and Oldeen’s Roofing are holding their annual kid’s fishing rodeo, Saturday, June 3 at Windmont Park.
Kids will be able to win prizes for catching fish in the newly-stocked pond. Registration begins bright and early Saturday at 7 a.m., and kids can drop their lines at 8 a.m. Prizes and trophies for various categories will be announced at 10 a.m.
The rodeo is open to kids ages 16 and under, and participants are asked to remember to bring their fishing pole and gear.
