The Kewanee High School FFA is currently holding their annual spring plant sale now through May 10 at the KHS Greenhouse.
The community is welcome to come the KHS greenhouse located at the east end of Kewanee High School at 1211 E 3rd Street on the following dates and times:
● May 4 – 6 at 3 – 4 p.m.
● May 8 at 3 – 4 p.m.
● May 9 at 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
● May 10 at noon to 2 p.m.
This year, the FFA students are offering a wide selection of flowers including assorted hanging baskets, assorted plant fillers, aloe vera, begonias, coleus, geraniums, gerbera daisies, petunias, spike plants, sun impatiens, sweet potato vine, verbena and vinca vine.
A variety of vegetables is also available for purchase including assorted bell peppers, beefsteak tomatoes, Better Boy tomatoes, cucumbers, green cabbage, jalapenos, kohlrabi, Roma tomatoes and zucchini.
Proceeds from the FFA annual springtime plant sale support FFA activities and educational programs.
