Kewanee weekend police blotter for Nov. 14-16

Friday:

Police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 300 block of East Second Street.

Police responded to a complaint of disorderly conduct, disturbing another’s peace in the 100 block of West South Street.

An animal at large was reported in the 600 block of North East Street. It was taken to the pound.

Police responded to a report of a juvenile disturbance in the 400 block of South Grove Street.

An animal was impounded in the 100 block of Fairview Junction.

Saturday:

Police responded to a report of criminal damage to property in the 1000 block of North Main Street.

Police responded to a complaint of disorderly conduct, telephone threat in the 400 block of East College Street.

Police responded to a report of animal abuse and neglect at Second and East streets.

Miguel Sanchez, 50, Kewanee, was cited for illegal burning following a complaint of illegal burning in the 400 block of Rockwell Street. He was given a notice to appear.

Police responded to a report of a hit and run accident in the 700 block of Tenney Street.

Police responded to a report of a disturbance, fights-riots-brawls in the 100 block of Fairview Junction.

A domestic disturbance was reported in the 1100 block of West Mill Street.

Otha E. Smith, 38, Milwaukee, Wis., was arrested for driving on a revoked license following a traffic stop at Second Street and Stanton Court. She was given a notice to appear.

Francisco Jiminez Saldivar, 28, Kewanee, was arrested for DUI, DUI over .08, operating an uninsured vehicle, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop in the 500 block of North East Street. He was given a notice to appear.

Sunday:

Nathaniel T. Lockett, 21, Kewanee, and Treshawn M. Jeffers, 18, Kewanee, were both issued notices to appear for battery and mob action following a disturbance, fights-riots-brawls in the 600 block of South Tremont Street.

Police responded to a complaint of disorderly conduct, telephone harassment in the 400 block of Dwight Street.

A traffic accident involving vehicles driven by Nicholas Perez, 58, Kewanee, and Shannon Feldpausch, 31, Moline, was reported at Sixth and Chestnut streets. No injuries were reported. Perez was issued a citation for no valid driver’s license. He was given a notice to appear.

Daniel R. Vanwassenhove, 63, Kewanee, was arrested for criminal trespass to property following a request to remove an unwanted subject in the 300 block of West Sixth Street. He was transported to the Henry County Jail.

An animal at large was reported in the 400 block of South Park Street.

An animal at large was reported in the 400 block of Beach Street South.

Police responded to a complaint of disorderly conduct, disturbing another’s peace in the 100 block of Lakeland Terrace.

Sam E. Cole, 52, Kewanee, was issued a citation for no valid driver’s license following a traffic stop at Dwight and McClure streets. He was given a notice to appear.

Police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at US Highway 34 and Midland Road in Galva.

Brock A. Colgan, 46, Bradford, was issued a citation for operating an uninsured vehicle following a traffic stop at Seventh Street and Grace Avenue. He was given a notice to appear.
