A traffic accident involving vehicles driven by a 16-year-old female, Kewanee, and Steven C. Franklin, 55, Kewanee, was reported at Division and Henry streets. Franklin was transported to OSF Saint Luke Medical Center by Kewanee Fire EMS. The 16-year-old female juvenile was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and improper lane usage. She was issued notices to appear.

Calvin A. Lewis, 33, Kewanee, was arrested for aggravated domestic battery and attempt to flee or elude a peace officer following a report of a domestic disturbance in the 800 block of Willow Street. He was transported to the Henry County Jail.
