Kewanee police blotter for May 27

Davis M. Harris, 44, Kewanee, was cited for failure to yield leaving a private drive following a traffic stop in the 100 block of East Mill Street. He was given a notice to appear.

Police assisted a citizen in the 400 block of East Third Street.

An animal at large was reported in the 1300 block of East Seventh Street. It was taken to the pound.

An animal at large was reported at Fourth and Rice streets.

Police assisted a citizen in the 300 block of Helmer Street.

Police assisted a business in the 1700 block of Burlington Avenue.

Police responded to a request to remove an unwanted subject in the 100 block of Fairview Junction.

A 16-year-old male was arrested for domestic battery following a domestic disturbance in the 700 block of North Main Street. He was given a juvenile referral.

Police assisted a citizen in the 500 block of Willow Street.

Police responded to a report of a disturbance, neighborhood trouble in the 1000 block of North East Street.

Dillon M. Stelman, 18, Toulon, and a 16-year-old male, were both issued citations for speeding (55/35) following a traffic stop in the 500 block of South Main Street. They were given notices to appear.

Lance E. Carder, 40, Kewanee, was arrested in the 300 block of Tenney Street on a Henry County warrant for failure to appear for possession of methamphetamine. He was also issued a notice to appear for theft. He was transported to the Henry County Jail.

Police responded to a report of a suspicious person at Church Street and East Street South.
