Kewanee police blotter for April 2

An animal at large was reported at Hollis and Division streets.

Michael E. Barnes, 20, Kewanee, was arrested in the 300 block of Tenney Street for obstructing. He was given a notice to appear.

Police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at First Street and Burr Boulevard.

Police assisted a business in the 400 block of South Main Street.

Joseph R. Parton, 37, Kewanee, was arrested for domestic battery following a report of a domestic disturbance in the 300 block of Willard Street. He was transported to the Henry County Jail.

Police assisted a citizen in the 400 block of East Third Street.

Police assisted a business in the 500 block of South Main Street.

An animal at large was reported in the 100 block of West Division Street.

Police assisted a citizen in the 500 block of Beach Street South.

Chad D. Leverette, 50, Kewanee, was arrested at Fairview Homes on a Henry County warrant for failure to appear. He was transported to the Henry County Jail.

Alicia N. Claros, 30, Kewanee, was arrested for driving with a suspended license following a traffic stop at Seventh and Elm streets. She was given a notice to appear.

Police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 900 block of North Walnut Street.

Police assisted a citizen in the 400 block of East Third Street.

Police responded to a complaint of a loud noise in the 600 block of West Fourth Street.

Police responded to a report of a dog bite in the 5800 block of Kentville Road.

Police responded to a complaint of disorderly conduct, disturbing another’s peace in the 2800 block of West Meidroth Street in Peoria.

Police assisted a citizen in the 800 block of Franklin Street.

Brandon J. Ince, 37, Kewanee, was cited for speeding (+35 over the limit) following a traffic stop in the 2000 block of Kentville Road.
