The Kewanee FFA Chapter was recognized as an all gold chapter for excellence in their program of activities (POA). The POA will now advance to compete at the national level.
Kewanee High School FFA received the honor at the Illinois State FFA Convention June 13-15 in Springfield. The Chapter was also recognized for 25 years of contribution to the Illinois Foundation FFA.
Kyle Joos, Kiersten Yordy and Rachel DeRycke received their State FFA Degrees. Daniella Chavez competed in Spanish Creed Speaking and took second place overall in the State of Illinois.
The Kewanee FFA Chapter is advised by Mrs. Callahan, Ms. Ruemker and Mr. Meyer.
