Two teens, Kaylee Celus and Nathan Dunker, have been named the Kewanee Elks #724 “Teens of the Month” for November.
Celus is the daughter of Jason and Tammy Celus. A senior at Annawan High School, she has a GPA of 5.1 and her class rank is two of 15. Her four-year achievements are High Honor roll, volleyball, basketball, track, drama club, FFA and student council.

Among her three-year achievements are National Honor Society, 5.0 Club, school plays, Spanish Club, and All-Conference Academic in basketball, volleyball and track.
Two-year achievements are class president, co-captain of basketball, volleyball and track. Her awards include honorable mention QC All-Western, All-Conference, All Tournament Team Princeville Tournament, Orion Tournament and UTHS Invite. In basketball she received the most improved player award, and honorable mention QC All-Western, most deflections and most improved player. She was second team QC All-Western. For track, she received first team All Conference, Most Valuable Athlete, state qualifier in 4×100 m and the 4×400 m.
Her one-year achievements are student council treasurer, yearbook staff and FCA. Community service involvement includes volunteering in storm clean-up, highway clean-up, tutoring, H&N Consignment, FFA Rake and Run and volleyball tutoring.

Dunker is the son of Keith and Tina Dunker. He is a senior at Geneseo High School. His class rank is the top 10, GPA of 4.23/4.0 scale. He has a four-year achievement in High Honor Roll, football, Boy Scouts, Feeding through Faith and FCA. His two-year achievements are National Honor Society, class Treasurer, student council and Aviation Club. He has a one-year achievement in All-Conference Academic football, NHS treasurer, Dance Marathon Team, Gray Matters Collective, co-captain of football, baseball, Second Team All-Conference football, Link Crew and Experimental Aircraft Association.
His community service activities are volunteering for the Eagle Scout Project, Feeding through Faith, Teens Encounter Christ and Dance Marathon.
