

The Kewanee Elks #724 announced the selection of Page Sierens and Taylor Snook as September “Teens of the Month.”
Sierens is the daughter of Beth and Gary Sierens. A junior at Annawan High School, her GPA is 5.0/5.0. She has three years of High Honor Roll, 5.0 Club, basketball, track and Spanish Club, FCA, FFA and Health Careers Club. Her two-year achievements include National Honor Society, All-Conference Academic for track and cross country, class president, FFA president, FFA secretary, FFA section 3 vice-president, student council representative, co-captain- basketball and track, Bravette Award for basketball. JV MVP basketball, state qualifier 4 x 800 track, Chapter Greenhand, top 10 finish land use, and FFA livestock judging.
Her community service includes volunteering for the church choir. FFA activities, FCA functions, Health Careers, Reading Carnival, Kids tractor pull, summer basketball camp, consignment sale and town clean up.
Snook is the son of Wade and Candy Snook. A senior at Cambridge High School, he has a class rank of one of 27, with a GPA of 4.229/4.0. He has a four-year achievement in High Honor Roll, football, band, marching band, Jazz Band, Concert Band, Pep Bank, FCA and FFA. He has a three-year achievement in All-Conference Academic Football, Scholastic Team and Student Council. He has a two-year achievement in All-Conference Academic track, football co-captain and track. His one-year achievements include Honors Band and Spanish Club. He has received numerous awards in track and football, music and FFA.
His community service includes volunteering in other school organizations, career development, physical therapy job shadowing, Rock Valley physical therapy, Hammond Henry Hospital and Genesis Physical Therapy Fair.
