Seventeen Kewanee businesses are participating in a “Shop Small Business Crawl.”
Starting Friday, March 20 and ending March 28, customers can pick up a punch card at any of the businesses. They then get the card punched at every business they visit.
When all 17 businesses have punched the card, it can be turned in at any of the businesses, and it will be entered in a drawing for “Shop Crawl dollars.”
Businesses taking part in this event are Coco’s Coffee Shop, Empire Bookshop, Blissful Branch, Blooms by Heartfelt, Johnson’s Hub, Good’s Furniture, Country Morning Coffee, HRD Tack Shop (at 2939 N. 600 Ave. in rural Kewanee), Breedlove’s Sporting Goods, Prairie Chicken Haus, Gallery on Second, Johnson’s Appliance, Say Less, Walter’s Jewelers, Baysingar’s Antiques and Hillside Florist.
Hours of opening will vary for each business, so shoppers should check each business’s Facebook Page to see when they’ll be open.
