K-Town Comedy Night to feature comedian David Graham

By The Kewanee Voice    February 2, 2024

David Graham, a 19-year stage veteran, will headline the eighth annual K-Town Comedy Night at the Flemish American Club on Saturday, March 23.

The evening will begin with dinner at 6:30 p.m. and the comedy show will follow at 7:30 pm. Tickets for the night are $25 a person. A 50/50 drawing and door prizes are also planned.

Graham is a St. Louis native, who bills himself as the clean comedy guy, and has worked with stars like Chris Rock , Adam Sandler and Sinbad. Graham describes his comedy career as a “non-stop series of events.” He first appeared on stage at the Funny Bone Comedy Club in St. Louis, where he accidently entered a comedy competition and won. That contest led to the opportunity to open for comedian George Wallace, and his 12-minute set attracted great press that led to a permanent emcee job there. Graham has opened for headliners such as Rock, Sandler, David Spade, Jimmy Walker and Sinbad.

Tickets for the evening can be purchased at the Kewanee Chamber of Commerce office and more information can be obtained by calling (309) 852-2175.
