The students of Irving School are inviting the public to come out and have a refreshing glass of lemonade while contributing to a good cause.
Alex’s Lemonade Stand, Foundation for Childhood Cancer, will be set up at Irving School, Friday, June 23 from 10 am to 1 pm. The cost for a glass is just 50 cents.
Alex’s Lemonade stand is part of the 21st CCLC grant-funded program brought through a partnership with the Kewanee School District and the Regional Board of Education.
The proceeds from the stand will be donated to Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation and go to help fight childhood cancer.
