CAMBRIDGE — Get ready for an unforgettable evening of music, community, and Irish charm.

On Wednesday, May 14, renowned Irish singer-songwriter Gráinne Hunt and acclaimed percussionist Jules Stewart will perform at Ca d’Zan House Concerts in Cambridge. The event promises a magical blend of intimate acoustic music, heartfelt lyrics, and spirited rhythms in a family-friendly setting.

Gráinne Hunt has been hailed as one of Ireland’s rising stars, known for her velvet vocals, poetic songwriting, and magnetic stage presence. With a sound that blends modern folk and Americana influences, Gráinne has supported iconic acts like Glen Hansard and Mary Black, and she’s been featured on stages from Dublin’s Whelan’s to London’s Green Note.

Her 2023 album “This Secret” earned praise for its intimate, soul-stirring songs and powerful delivery.

Joining her is Jules Stewart, an outstanding Scottish-Irish percussionist celebrated for his dynamic and sensitive drumming. Jules has toured internationally with folk and roots artists across Europe and the U.S., bringing a rich percussive energy that beautifully complements Gráinne’s voice and guitar.

Together, Gráinne and Jules deliver a performance that’s both deeply personal and universally moving — a musical experience not to be missed.

The evening will kick off with a potluck dinner and social hour at 6 p.m., giving guests a chance to meet neighbors and the artists alike. The concert will begin at 7.

Guests of all ages are welcome, and families are encouraged to come. Please bring a lawn chair or blanket for seating, and feel free to bring along any food or drinks to share.

A $20–$30 suggested donation will be collected at the door, with 100 percent of proceeds going directly to the performers to support their U.S. tour. Tickets are available at xroadscc.org/events or cash can be paid upon arrival.
