I recently attended a party where one appetizer seemed to disappear faster than anything else on the table. The tray of Chicken Bacon Ranch Pinwheels kept drawing people back for “just one more,” and before long, they were almost gone.

Luckily, I was able to get the recipe from the person who made them. While she preferred not to be featured, she generously shared all of the details so I could recreate them at home.
Although I’ve enjoyed similar tortilla pinwheels at parties over the years, I had never actually made them myself. I only jotted down the instructions, but the directions I was given were spot-on and resulted in the same creamy, flavorful pinwheels we enjoyed that night.

The combination of chicken, bacon and ranch is always a winner with the guys in my house. These pinwheels are rich and creamy from the cream cheese, packed with savory chicken and bacon, and finished with plenty of ranch flavor. The shredded Colby Jack cheese adds another layer of deliciousness that brings it all together.

These pinwheels can easily be made ahead of time. Simply prepare the rolls, refrigerate them until firm and slice them when you’re ready to serve. They are perfect for parties, potlucks, holiday gatherings, game days or anytime you need an easy appetizer that feeds a crowd.
From our kitchen to yours — enjoy!

Ingredients
Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and ranch seasoning together until smooth and well combined.
Stir in the shredded chicken, Colby Jack cheese, and bacon bits until evenly combined.
Spread a portion of the mixture evenly over each tortilla in the shape of a square within the circle.
Roll each tortilla tightly into a log.
Place in plastic bags and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight, to firm up.
Remove from the refrigerator and trim off the ends of each roll.
Slice into 1/2-inch pinwheels and arrange on a serving platter.
Notes
–Rolling the tortillas tightly helps the pinwheels hold their shape
–Chilling before slicing is the key to clean, neat pinwheels.
–Store covered in the refrigerator for up to three days.
