The owners of Crescent City Tap in Galva announced that the bar and restaurant are up for sale.
On Wednesday, the business owners posted to Facebook, “After nearly eight amazing years, we’ve made the heartfelt decision to sell Crescent City Tap. This place has been more than just a business to us—it’s been our passion, our gathering place, and our connection to so many of you.”
Purchased in 2017, the bar and grill features a New Orleans motif, along with a Cajun-style menu, drink specials, and live music. Specialty pizzas and American cuisine are also available. Located at 336 – 338 Front Street, their notice indicated that it would continue to operate until a new owner is found.
The bar/restaurant, along with other connecting properties, are known as Front Street Enterprises (FSE). Owners Kevin and Lisa Gerard, Nick Ballard, and Harry Hergert acknowledged that the decision to sell was difficult and are looking for the right person to take the reins and continue what they started. “Someone who sees the same potential and heart in this space that we always have.”
In the public post, they said, “Together we’ve poured our hearts into creating a warm, welcoming space where friends, families, and neighbors could share meals, laughter and memories.”
