Galva Water Superintendent Jacob McClintic has announced that the city will flush hydrants from April 6 through April 17. The work will begin in the southeast and southwest sections of town, move into the northwest, and finish in the northeast.
Residents may experience temporary rusty or discolored water during the flushing period. The Water Department recommends running tap water for a few minutes before doing laundry to avoid staining.
