The Henry and Stark County Health Departments and First Choice Healthcare will be conducting a special health services and outreach display at the Kewanee Pride Fest on Saturday, June 10 from noon to 6 p.m. at Northeast Park.
A booth will be set up to offer Pride Fest participants and attendee first aid services, rapid HIV and Hepatitis C testing, as well as offer health promotion and education, giveaways and goodies.
“This is going to be a great event as there will be something for everyone interested in getting some great information, taking advantage of free giveaways, promotions, maybe some health screenings, and just partaking in a pleasant time visiting and talking with our health department staff,” said RaeAnn Tucker, director of Health Promotion for HSCHD.
