My cousin, Michael Ludwig Fischer, inherited his great-grandfather and namesake’s sleigh bells. His great-grandfather arrived in Kewanee in the late 1870s. Michael has fond memories of visiting the family home on Main St. during the holidays when he was growing up, and he remembers joyfully ringing the bells.
