Cloak yourself in your finest witchy attire, mount your broomstick, and head over to Geneseo for one of its most enchanting annual traditions.
The Geneseo Chamber of Commerce is hosting Witches Night Out and Witches Weekend, offering a mix of shopping, dining, prizes and Halloween fun.
The festivities kicked off with Witches Night Out on Thursday, Oct. 30, from 4 to 7 p.m. Downtown Geneseo transformed into a whimsical shopping destination. Participating stores welcomed visitors with treats, special deals and a chance to win Geneseo Chamber gift certificates. Shoppers were encouraged to dress in their finest witchy attire, hats included, for a chance to win an extra prize for best costume.
If you missed Thursday’s event, don’t worry. The fun continues with Witches Weekend on Friday, Oct. 31 and Saturday, Nov. 1, giving shoppers more chances to win. Visitors can enter drawings at each participating location for Chamber gift certificates and one of three “Hocus Pocus Cauldrons of Prizes.”
Entries must be turned in by each store’s closing time on Saturday, Nov. 1. Winners will be drawn and announced by the Chamber the following week.
