Goodley and Horrie named Kewanee Elks ‘Teens of the Month’

The Kewanee Elks #724 choices for January “Teens of the Month” are Olivia Goodley and Dillon Horrie.

Goodley is the daughter of Chris and Kim Goodley. A senior at Annawan High School, her class rank is one of 16, GPA 5.0/5.0 scale. She has four- year achievements in High Honor Roll, co-captain of volleyball, cheerleading, Spanish Club, FCA, student council, and three-year achievements in All-Conference Academic in basketball and volleyball, co-captain for basketball, softball, National Honor Society and FFA.

She has a two-year achievement as class secretary, with one-year achievements of class vice-president, student council vice-president, Poetry Out Loud and All-Conference First, Second and Honorable Mention.

Her community service includes volunteering for the consignment sales, tutoring lessons and Rake & Run.

Horrie is the son of Landen and Melissa Horrie. He is a senior at Wethersfield High School, and his class rank is 10 of 39, GPA 4.82/5.0 scale. He has four-year achievements in High Honor Roll, All-Conference Academic in football, basketball and baseball, Key Club, FCA and student council. He has a three-year achievement as FCA Leader. His two-years achievements include National Honor Society with high honors, secretary and All-State Honors, co-captain for football and baseball.

He has one-year achievements in class vice-president, student council senior representative, Key Club senior representative, basketball co-captain, track, First Team All-Conference DB, Second Team All-Conference All-Area, Shrine Bowl Invite and Honorable Mention QB and yearbook staff.

His community service includes volunteering at canned food drive, Labor Day Pork chop tent, Student Council Stand and Christmas Festival and FCA Candy Cane program.
