This weekend, Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 13 and 14, members of the Kewanee Kiwanis Club will be out in the community collecting donations for Good Fellows Tag Days, a local tradition that helps feed area families in need during the holiday season.
Each year, the Good Fellow’s Christmas Basket Club delivers more than 750 baskets filled with groceries to Kewanee households, reaching over 1,900 individuals. Every dollar donated goes directly toward purchasing food, ensuring 100% of your contribution supports local families.
Make sure to look for Kiwanis members and volunteers at collection sites around town, including Save-A- Lot, Walmart, Walgreens and Sullivan’s Foods.
