The Kewanee Education Association (KEA) is hosting a free swim for students and family members of Kewanee Community Unit District 229.
The free swim will be held Thursday, Aug. 3 from 10 am to noon at the Oasis Family Aquatic Center located at Northeast Park.
The event is open to all KCUD 229 students, and parents are welcome.
The KEA is offering students an opportunity to swim with their classmates and enjoy ice cream with their teachers.
