
Kewanee High School has a large array of regional winners in state FFA competition.
Last week KHS hosted the Section Three state degree candidate interviews and proficiency interviews.
Four KHS students were recommended for the Illinois FFA State Degree: Jack Anderson, Katy Carton, Emmalee Kilstrom and Kelsey Scott.
These KHS students were Section Three winners who advance to districts on March 4 in Geneseo:
Tripp Rieker in diversified agricultural production, Emmalee Kilstrom in diversified horticulture, Gunnar Carmichael in environmental science and natural resource management, Katy Carton in landscape installation and Remy Hicks in outdoor recreation.
Sharing their proficiency in Supervised Agricultural Experiences were Kaleigh Gale, grain production; Jack Anderson, specialty crop production; Kelsey Scott in agricultural education; Jackson Price, vegetable production; Mikayla Ouart, equine science; Emmalee Kilstrom, agricultural sales; Summer Simmons, veterinary science; Isabella Guzman, small animal production and care; Tripp Rieker, beef production and forage production.
