‘Farm Gals Sale, Treasures in the Shed’ set for this weekend

For the seventh year, the Farm Gals Sale, Treasures in the Shed, will take place just east of Cambridge. The event will be “one big sale” and multiple vendors are involved.

The sale features items from The Crude Hedgehog owned by Bill Charlet known for being a “Remaker of Old Treasures.” Also participating will be Squirrel Hill Farms selling barnwood creations.

The Farm Gals, Barb Nelson and Linda Charlet, billed as the “Gals that Love to Decorate” will be there, as well as Pink Prairie Gardens, which will be offering farm-grown hanging baskets.

The event has a Facebook page that features photos of many sale items. The sales are cash or check only and the event will be held this weekend, Friday, May 3, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturday, May 4, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.; and Sunday, May 5, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The sale will be located at 18106 IL Hwy 81 in Cambridge, rain or shine.
