Adrienne DeSutter, ag mental health specialist and creator of Sow Hope Grow Hope, will be the featured speaker at the upcoming Henry County Farm Bureau’s workshop.

Women in the agriculture field are tough. They carry families, farms and futures on their backs. But their real strength isn’t about never breaking; it’s about being brave enough to bend before you snap. That’s DeSutter’s message and the workshop is a celebration of the women who hold it all together, even when they’re running on caffeine and sheer willpower. It’s also a reminder that vulnerability isn’t weakness, it’s leadership.
Participants in the workshop will find themselves laughing, exhaling and then discovering tools to care for themselves and the people they love. They’ll leave feeling grounded, hopeful and remembering that strong women don’t do it all – they do what matters.
Attend the event on Thursday, Jan. 29 at 6 p.m. at the Black Hawk College East Campus Auditorium, Building A, located at 26230 Black Hawk Rd. in Galva.
