Abilities Plus has received a $2,140 donation from the Kewanee Knights of Columbus, Santa Maria Council 734, the proceeds of the council’s annual fall Tootsie Roll Drive.
The fundraiser, a long‑running tradition for the Knights, draws strong community support each year. Many Abilities Plus clients volunteer alongside council members during the drive, helping greet donors and hand out the Tootsie Rolls.
“The generous donation from the Kewanee Knights of Columbus club to Abilities Plus is very much appreciated,” said Abilities Plus Executive Director Kim Wallace.
The Knights annual Tootsie Roll Drive is held each fall to raise funds for local organizations that serve individuals with special needs. Abilities Plus serves clients from Henry, Stark and western Bureau counties.
