
Adults can learn conversational Spanish and create fiber arts while kids explore and express their artistic side this June at the Black Hawk College Community Education Center in Kewanee.
Scheduled are:
— Conversational Spanish – Through interactive group activities, student will learn beginning-level grammar for a basic understanding of the Spanish language. Classes are Tuesdays and Thursdays, June 4-27, from 5-7 p.m. Cost is $65.
— Fiber Arts – Students ages 16 and older will be immersed in crochet, knitting, weaving and felting with hands-on instruction and guided practice. Classes are Tuesdays and Thursdays, June 4-20, from 5-7 p.m. Cost is $65 plus $15 materials fee.
— Kids Craft Camp and Activities – Kids ages 6-11 will explore their artistic talents and express themselves through a variety of engaging activities. Classes are Monday-Thursday, June 10-13, from 9-11 a.m. Cost is $40 plus $10 materials fee.
