Not all heroes wear capes.
Over the last few months, The Kewanee Voice has encountered some incredible people in our community- volunteers and big-hearted folks who work tirelessly to help make the town and the world a better place.
We would like to hear from you about special people you have encountered and how they are making a difference, big or small, so we are announcing our new feature, “Hometown Heroes.” Do you know someone in our community that you would like to be recognized as a hometown hero?
We would like to do regular profiles and features and tell the stories behind our own heroes right here in Kewanee and the surrounding area.
Tell us about them by sending us an email to let us know who you think deserves to be featured, and why they are a hero. Send us an email with the subject line “Hometown Hero” to news@kewaneevoice.com. We will reach out to them and write about as many of your heroes as we can. Be sure to include their contact information if you have it.
