The Kewanee Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution honored the recipients of the DAR Good Citizens Award at their annual George Washington Tea.
The tea was held on Sunday, Feb. 18 at the First United Methodist Church and recognized four seniors, Eleanor Burkhart, KHS, Olivia Orwig-Stark County High School, Elleora Eastman, WHS and John Gravitt, Galva High School. The students were chosen for the award based on dependability, service, leadership and patriotism.
