Pastor Justin Rumley – Government
Paula Gradert – Military
Mariellen Davis – Arts, Media, and Entertainment

Music will be provided by the choir of First Congregational Church under the direction of Jim Blucker, accompanied by Theresa Yarger. Congregational hymns will also be sung throughout the service.

The National Day of Prayer was first established by President Harry Truman, who declared a day of prayer for the nation. In 1988, President Ronald Reagan designated the first Thursday in May as the official annual observance. Each year, thousands of Americans gather in churches, parks and public spaces to say prayers for the country.

The public is invited to attend and join in this time of reflection and unity.
