BISHOP HILL — Crossroads Cultural Connections will host Illinois musician Colt Ball for a live performance on Sunday, March 29, at the Bishop Hill Creative Commons. A potluck gathering will begin at 6 p.m., followed by the concert at 7 p.m.
Ball, an Illinois native, has been performing full time since 2021 and has appeared at venues across the Midwest. His early career included a performance at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis during a sold‑out St. Louis Blues game, and he has since shared stages with artists such as Keller Williams, Marbin, Wookiefoot, Aaron Kamm & The One Drops, String Cheese Incident and Mike Love.
His music incorporates elements of rock, blues and soul, and he has been featured on radio programs, podcasts and a streaming network show. In 2022, Ball recorded an EP with Cas Haley at Big Hope Studio in Paris, Texas. He continues to perform throughout the region and appears on festival lineups in multiple states.
The event is open to all ages. Organizers suggest a donation of $20 to $30, with all proceeds going to the performers. Additional information is available at xroadscc.org.
