St. Peter’s Church, located at 119 S. Grove St. in Kewanee is opening its doors to offer free meals to families in need.
The meal will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 16 from 4:30 until 6:30 p.m. or until the food runs out.
On the menu will be chili, chicken vegetable soup, a sandwich, dessert and a drink.
Everyone is welcome to attend the meal, and the event organizers are asking that people help spread the word.
