If you’d like to have a cheeseball for a holiday party (or just for yourself!) the Church of Peace in rural Kewanee can help you.
The church is holding a cheeseball fundraiser, offering three varieties of cheeseballs:
— Classic beef and chive, made with chipped beef, chives “and a dash of kitchen magic.”
— Cheesy bacon ranch, with cheddar cheese, real bacon and “the Midwest’s favorite condiment.”
— Chocolate chip, which features a mixture of sugar, butter and mini chips.
All are seven ounces and made in the church basement. The cheeseballs can be frozen.
The cost is $8 per cheeseball.
To order and pay, click on the QR code above. Cheeseballs may also be ordered from any Church of Peace member.
The deadline for ordering is Dec. 1.
Orders may be picked up from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7 at the Church of Peace, 28358 N. 900 Ave.
