The Church of Peace, located at 28358 N. 900 Ave. in Kewanee, is inviting the public for a night of brats, hot dogs, and smores by the campfire.
The Oktoberfest event is set for Sunday, Oct. 20 from 5 to 8 p.m. The meal will include German potato salad, sauerkraut, green beans and a drink.
Quantities of food is limited, and the church is suggesting a free will donation of $15 for the meal. The proceeds will benefit the Gruszeczka family.
Attendees are asked to bring lawn chairs.
