Members of the Church of Peace in rural Kewanee are offering a “fun (and tasty) way to spend a spring afternoon” on Saturday, April 25.
The “Springtime Build-a-Board” workshop will be held form 3-5 p.m. at the Church of Peace Fellowship Hall.
Led by Beth Kelly, the hands-on class will teach how to design a spring charcuterie board.
The board will be “perfect for parties, picnics or just treating yourself,” according to a news release from the church.
The cost of the event is $25 and includes “everything you need, plus food and refreshments to enjoy along the way,” the news release said.
“Spots are limited, so be sure to register soon. Come for the creativity, enjoy the country views, stay for the snacks — and leave with a board you’ll be proud to show off,” the release concluded.
