
The Kewanee Central seventh-grade boys ended up fifth at the state competition in East Peoria last Saturday.
They qualified at the Canton Sectional with a time of 51.83 which was their best time of the season. This ranked them in 10th place coming into the state meet.

On Saturday they ran in the second of three heats for the 4×100 at State and they ended the season with their best time of 51.34.
Runners were Ivan Martinez, Theo Tavares, Cruz Cortez, Anton Jones and Cameron Cleaver as an alternate.
