The City of Kewanee conducts cemetery clean ups every spring and fall and the fall clean up date is arriving.
Residents are being asked to pick up and remove any decorations from graves that they want saved by Oct. 20. During the period from Oct. 20 through Oct. 31, city workers will remove and discard all decorations that remain on the graves.
No new decorations can be placed on the sites until after the cleanup period ends at the end of October.
