The Breedloves team won the 33rd annual Abilities Plus Golf Outing at Midland Golf Club on Monday, Aug. 5, with a score of 57. Team members were Mike Pillan, Mike Landis, Larry Standaert, and Bob Howard.
Second place on a card back was the Tom Burhorn Allstate team with a score of 60. Team members included Court Marshall, Kyle Graham, Ed Smith, and Jeremy Burhorn.
Third place on a card back was the Luke Code Inc. team, with a score of 60. Luke Code Inc. team members included Brian Code, Bill Derick, Jared Code, and Jacob Code.
In a news release, Abilities Plus thanked all of the golfers, hole and tournament sponsors, prize and financial donors, and volunteers for helping make this outing another great fundraising event.
A special thank you was directed by the agency to Breedlove Sporting Goods, Tyson Fresh Meats, Big Bluestem Wind, and Justin Landwehr – Navigate Realty for their major sponsorships again this year. Midland Golf Club staff assisted at making the outing run smoothly, the news release stated.
All proceeds from the outing help fund programs and services for local children and adults with delays and disabilities.
