Kewanee High School’s Boiler Girls went 0-2 last week at the Elmwood Invitational basketball tournament.
In their first game, the Boiler Girls were defeated 30-21 by the host Elmwood team.
Kewanee led 12-11 at the half and 20-12 after three quarters, but were outscored 12-1 in the fourth quarter.
Audrey Clucas and Bailey VanWinkle each scored 6 points to lead Kewanee.
In their second game, the Boiler Girls fell to Wethersfield 50-33. The only scorers for Kewanee were Damaris Diaz with 21 and Clucas with 11.
