The Boiler Girls varsity volleyball team had a tough fight against Bureau Valley Saturday night, but in the end the boiler girls took the win in the third set winning, 15-25, 25-17 and 25-23.
Senior Claire Taylor had an amazing night with helping the team to victory, getting 10 digs, six aces and 19 service points.
Not to be outdone, junior Macee Pickering had six kills, 13 assists, three digs, one ace and one service point.
Juniors Damaris Diza and Macy Anderson both did a great job on offense, with Diaz having nine kills and four blocks and Anderson having five kills and one block.

Kewanee’s JV volleyball team had a great win against Bureau Valley winning 25-19, 18-25, and 15-9.
The team will be back in action at home against the Princeton Tigers on Tuesday, Oct. 14.
