Kewanee High School’s Boiler Girls basketball team got a big road win Wednesday, defeating Orion 61-14.
The tempo of the game was set early, as Kewanee jumped out ahead with an 18-2 lead after one quarter.
The lead was 38-9 at the half, and Orion scored only six points in the second half while Kewanee scored 22.
Audrey Clucas and Damaris Diaz each had 14 points to lead the Boiler Girls.
Addison Yepsen and Kieryn Abernathy each had 11.
