Vendors of all kinds will gather for the Bishop Hill Pottery Festival set for Saturday, Oct. 14 on the north side of the village park, next to J. Goard Pottery. The event will feature not only pottery, but art in other forms including basketry, woods, stained glass, quilting, jewelry and more.

Many of the vendors will demonstrate from their booths, while even more demonstrations can be seen at J. Gourd Pottery, located at 204 Johnson St., next to P.L. Johnson’s Dining Room.

The festival will begin at 10 am and last until 5 pm. Attendees can come earlier and purchase baked goods, provided by Special Kneads Bakery. The pottery festival is sponsored by the Bishop Hill Heritage Association, Community State Bank, Special Kneads Bakery and J. Goard Pottery.
