On Tuesday Jan. 27, Belle Alexander Elementary School in Kewanee celebrated the 100th day of the school year. Teachers, staff and students all got into the spirit of the day by dressing as centenarians and engaging in lessons and activities honoring the number 100.
Some of the activities included a parade of staff and students, counting by 1’s and 10’s to 100, writing an essay “If I had 100 dollars” and enjoying 100th day snacks.
