The Kewanee Schools Foundation will present “A Disney Spectacular” performed by the Kewanee High School Symphonic Band. Musical selections will be songs featured from the Disney productions of The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, Encanto, Frozen, Moana and others.
Directed by Alex Binek, K.H.S. music director and Brittany Krohn, music director, the concert will be held in the Petersen Auditorium at the high school on Saturday, March 1. Doors open at 6 p.m. The show starts promptly at 6:30 p.m.
The public is invited and encouraged to attend. Tickets are $5 each. There will also be CD pre-sales of the concert that evening, as well as a 50/50 drawing. Refreshments will be provided after the concert.
This annual sponsorship event is held in support of the music department at KHS.
