Anderson, Heitzler named Elks’ ‘Teens of the Month’

Ella Anderson and Brady Heitzler have been named Kewanee Elks #724 “Teens of the Month” for March.

Ella is the daughter of Andy and Denelle Anderson. A senior at Annawan High School, her GPA is 4.5974/5.0 scale, with a class rank of 10 of 26.

Four-year achievements include high honor roll, basketball, FCA, FFA, with three-year achievements in National Honor Society, volleyball and the Spanish Club.

Her two-year achievements are basketball and volleyball co-captain, with one-year achievements in all-conference academic basketball and cross county, class president, FFA president, Gray Matters Collective student leader, FFA strengthening chair, 4-H president, vice-president, reporter and treasurer, cheerleading, Forestry team, Quizbowl team, Horse Judging team, Job Interview team, Livestock team, Parliamentary Procedure team, Soils team and student council.

Her community service includes volunteering at Anderson FFA food stand, Annawan Fun Days Tractor Pull, church teacher, Rake and Run, Youth Basketball Camp and Annawan tree planting.

Brady is the son of Jerad and Liz Heitzler. A senior at Annawan High School, Brady’s class rank is 11 of 26 with a GPA 3.66/4.0 scale.

His four-year achievements are high honor roll, all-conference academics football, basketball, FCA, and student council. He has a three-year achievements in all-conference academics basketball and track, National Honor Society, co-captain of track and FFA. Two-year
achievements include class secretary and basketball and football co-captain. One year achievements are football academic all-state, class president, Student Council vice-president, 1st team all-conference football and school plays.

His community service involvement is at the Anderson sale, cooking burgers at the police station, as well as volunteering to assist with basketball and football camps.
