Snow has arrived in time for snowman-building season and industrious residents took advantage of Tuesday’s winter storm accumulation to create an entire family made of snow in their front yard.
A gathering of snow people, mom, dad and kids, stand near the curb on Chestnut Street and Central Boulevard to greet passing motorists. With the colder temperatures coming in next week, they will most likely be standing post for quite a while.
Another winter storm is underway, and the forecast for more snow people popping up around Kewanee looks promising.
