The Annawan-Wethersfield girls track team held their sports banquet May 28 at Wethersfield High School and several award winners were recognized.
Earning Lincoln Trail All Academic honors: Lucy Landwehr, Kyra Galbraith, Katelyn Carman, Camryn Anderson, Abby Carman, Ava Landwehr, Leah Franklin, Lexie Wilson, Makenna VerKruyse, Jordan Nelson, Ashley Oliver, Megan Oliver, Lauren Davis, Tyra Jones, Paige Sierens, Clara Bella VanOpdorp and Ava Salazar.
Special Award winners were: Best Jumper, Jordan Nelson; Best Distance Runner and Team MVP, Camryn Anderson; Best Thrower, Leah Franklin; and Best Sprinter, Clara Bella VanOpdorp.
State qualifiers for Annawan-Wethersfield were the 4×800 team of Lexie Wilson, Camryn Anderson, Ava Landwehr and Lucy Landwehr; Jordan Nelson in high jump; and Camryn Anderson in the 800m run.
